Hari ni rasa nak mempoyokan diri dengan snap gamba pekan kecik Dublin ni. Ingat nak cover area area temple bar sebab area ni ada historical value tersendiri.... sambil jalan2 bawak Sony P150 yang tersangatlah compact ni... bermulalah sesi poyografi.... tah apa yang aku snap pon tak tau la.. tapi still nak share ngan korang yang melawat my photoblog ni.....enjoy!!
Glendalough, or the Glen of two Lakes, is one of the most important sites of maonastic ruins in Ireland. It is also known as the city of the seven Churches. Fourteen centuries have passed since the death of its founder, St. Kevin, when the valley was part of Ireland's Golden Age.
The two lakes, which gave the valley its name, came into existence thousands of years ago, after the Ice Age, when great deposits of earth and stone were strewn across the valley in the area where the Round Tower now exists. The mountain streams eventually formed a large lake. The Pollanass river spread alluvial deposits across the centre of the lake and created a divide to form the Upper and Lower Lakes. The Glenealo river flows in from the West into the Upper lake which is the larger and deepest of the two lakes.
Before the arrival of St. Kevin this valley (glen) would have been desolate and remote. It must have been ideal for St Kevin as a retreat and area to be 'away from it all'. Kevin died in 617 A.D. at the age of 120 years and his name and life's work is forever entwine with the ruins and the Glendalough Valley

hari ni pi Tourist Info Centre utk beli tiket one day trip to Glendalough. Euro30.
Jalan jalan ke Blanchardstown... pastu pi pusing pusing town Dublin... al maklumlah.. jakun.. orang asing baru sampai sini.... mesti la nak xplore semua tpt... mcm kucing la .....pusing semua kawasan nak kasik tanda... heheheheh. Banyak bende baru kitorang discover antaranya perilaku mat saleh irish ni yang polite. Nak lintas jalan kereta musti berenti...siap SENYUM..... walaupun kita orang asing.... dan diorang ni senyum gak kat orang diorang sendiri... maksudnya bukannya senyum yang dibuat buat utk acting depan pelancong lah.... buat masa ni status kitorang pelancong la kan... baru sampai la katakan.Sambil jalan jalan , observe bangunan bangunan lama. Kebanyakan bangunan sini diorang preserve. Bukan setakat preserve bangunan.... tapi urban skyline town dublin ni diorang masih preserve dari segi building height. Takde highrise. semua low rise. paling tinggi pon 8 tingkat la.... tapi selalu 3-5 tingkat. Once dah ada highrise nanti ... sure semua nak bikin highrise...berlawan lawan pulak jadinya. Kedai diorang tutup pukul 6. Apa barang kan... tapi itu lah hakikatnya...nak shopping pon kelam kabut gak ler..... sebab siang panjang... tapi kul 6 dah tutup kedai.... enjoy the pics .....
Sampai 6hb.... esoknya 7hb dah start keje... takde tunggu tunggu lagi dah...tapi harini hafdey... ptg tu bawak emmy pi pusing pusing town. Summer so tak de la sejuk mcm dtg masa hujung winter dulu. Pusing2 Grafton Street, St Stephen Green etc etc etc
Hari ni bermulah perjalanan hidup kitorang perantauan....Merantau utk carik pengalaman kerja dengan bangsa asing..... hari nak bertolak ni pun senang nak ingat 6.6.6.....family dua dua belah dtg hantar kat KLIA..... takde drama swasta tapi dalam hati sapa yang tau....nak balik tak tau bila ... belum plan.
